Authentic French Dinning in the

heart of South Beach.

arrow-long-down

Pied à Terre Restaurant opened its doors on Miami Beach in 2011.  It is cozy, quaint, elegant and refined.  With just 36 seats inside and seating for 25 outdoors in a beautiful garden setting, you enjoy your dinner in an ambiance of serenity and peace – not the usual South Beach dining experience.  Pied à Terre caters to guests who appreciate personal service, fine, unusual and hard to find wines, spectacular food, and privacy.

Our unique European style of service is well suited to intimacy and conversation.  We time our food service so you can enjoy and never feel rushed or overwhelmed.  Take as long as you want and savor all the delicacies the evening will bring.

Our facility offers an outstanding environment for private parties, social events, weddings, and business meeting. We can accommodate up to 40 people for a seated dinner, and 95 people for cocktail parties.

The Cadet Hotel

The historic Cadet Hotel has been a fixture on Miami Beach since early 1941. The name of the hotel comes from the time when Air Force cadets were stationed here shortly after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Their captain? None other than the dashing Clark Gable.

What to Expect

Pied à Terre Restaurant prepares food using classic French cooking techniques, blended with the creativity and innovation that are featured at Michelin-starred restaurants in France today.  Pied à Terre is the only restaurant in Miami serving this type of cuisine.

French Contemporary Cuisine:

  • Does not incorporate cream
  • Uses minimal butter
  • Includes spices and fresh products from all over the world
  • Focuses on quality, freshness, and flavors

Our philosophy for food is Fresh, Refined, Delicate, Flavorful, Light, and Healthy.

We offer an ever-changing menu reflecting fresh and seasonal ingredients, and aim to support local farmers whenever possible. In addition to our a la carte menu, we offer a five-course chef’s tasting menu with an optional wine pairing for every course. At Pied à Terre, we can accommodate any dietary requirements or personal preferences. We offer a full bar along with our exceptional wine program.

Charming, quaint, cosy little restaurant with only a handful of tables, so book well in advance. Excellent food, good wine selection, and good service. Close to Collins and 17th Street. Love it.

WAREN WARREN

It might be a bit pricey but it's worth every penny! Not only the service is personalized and courteous, they really make an extra effort to make sure to depict the very refined dishes and appetizers they offer.

NUMAS VIAGEM

Our second time at the quiet and small French restaurant. Just as good as our first trip. Excellent food and creative takes on traditional dishes. The wine and champagne list is excellent. We highly recommend the Georges Laval champagne. Amazing.

SHARKSSS13

What a treat! We were looking for a truly memorable meal to mark the end of our anniversary trip. We can hardly believe the treasure we found tucked away in the quaint Cadet Hotel. Unbelievable. The food, the wine, the service were all extraordinary.

NYFOODLOVERS

This is a well-reviewed French restaurant that is all about the food. Both the food and service meet and exceed expectations. As others have noted, it's not what you might expect in South Beach, but my wife and I regarded this as a plus.
